Every year, our mothers “strut their stuff” on the catwalk, modeling fashions from local shops to raise funds for the school. The Milton Mothers’ Fashion Parade is the social highlight of the year, a night where our mums can let down their hair, frock up and enjoy a night of bubbles, dancing, fashion, fun… and shopping!
So many amazing things came together to make this year’s event an undeniable success! A great team (featuring Kristyn Roberts of Kristyn Grace Design), a fun theme (Bollywood Glamour!) and a lot of hard work, but it really paid off in spades. We raised thousands of dollars for a great cause, all the women had so much fun and the vendors sold some great fashions.
Here is just a snippet of the fun:
The scene is set!
Henna tattoos helped get the ladies “in the mood”, and raised some funds for the school.
Kristyn from Kristyn Grace Design really captured the market stall experience I was looking for.
What kind of fundraisers does your (or your children’s) school do?
